Yes, the Grizzlies won their first game over the No. 1-seed in the Western Conference. Yes, they gained the first playoff victory in their franchise's history. But is there anyone who really believes Zach Randolph(notes) and Memphis even has a real shot at upsetting the Spurs in this series; let alone a chance to make it to the 2011 NBA Finals?
Whoever answered yes to that question I would suggest you go seek psychological help. There is not a question in my mind but that the Grizzlies will be beaten by the Spurs. In fact, although I'm not generally a gambling man, I would venture to wager quite a bit San Antonio doesn't even let Memphis win another game.
Memphis winning one game over the Spurs isn't going to erase the years of futility this franchise has had, and won't change the fact they have no real shot at making the 2011 NBA Finals.
Since then the Grizzlies have made it to the conference semifinals and have even beaten OKC in the first game.
