This Saturday, the 2nd part of the season kicks off, being 4th in the table at the moment we need to at least maintain our place to make it into the playoffs, with 6 teams battling for 4 places we are going to have to work harder that last term.
After a couple of training sessions, the team was given. I wasn't in it, nothing to worry about, i missed pre season and I can take it. Nevertheless I am slightly concerned by the way we train/play, i am finding that some of players in the team tend to be too greedy, selfish. To be honest that is not going to bring us anywhere, too many just go for glory and try to go all the way to the goal instead of giving the extra pass that could mean an easier goal for the team. I also dislike the fact that in some games some players that score take the full credit of it, when for some others it is better to give an assist to score. Of course we love to hit the net, but personally I'd rather give an assist to a player that is better placed. Last training for me was disappointing, during the practice game several teammates wouldn't play the easy ball, and that hurts us a lot. I hope this will change as if not we are definitely not going anywhere.
In the meanwhile, it's time for me to keep working, get my fitness up and start gaining my place into the team.

Nba game Wizards-Raptors
Finally been to an official NBA game. It definitely wasn't the best game to choose, Wizards, despite some amazing victories like the one against cavaliers, are the worst NBA team this season. Raptors are not on a less disappointing season either, getting J.O'Neal from the pacers they were looking strong, but are currently on a big losing record and it will be hard to see them on the Playoffs this season. Hopeful to see Calderon I bought the tickets a month before the game. But 4 days before coming to Washington the Spanish PG injured himself on a drive to the basket against the rockets, therefore he would not travel to Washington for the game.
Despite this I was still excited, after all it's the NBA. I must say I was amazed by the stadium, Verizon Center, and how the crowd supports the home team. The entertainment was a highlight, during time outs and in between quarters, the cheerleaders (WOW) would give away free pizzas and burritos, people would dance so that they appear in the big screen, couples would kiss when spotted by the cameraman's, and etc.
The game itself wasn't as impressive, the wizards never lead in the game, Bargnani had superb game, killing every wizards run with a 3-pointer, while CB 4 wouldn't miss a free throw. Jamison tried to catch the Raptors with big plays, but was fouled out late in the 4th and that was it.
I leave you here some of the pictures and a video.
